Singer and composer

Vivian Lima

Vivian Lima is originally from Belo Horizonte in Brazil and lives in Portugal, where she has successfully built a career as a singer. Her passion for Portuguese fado was sparked during her childhood by her father, a great admirer of Amália Rodrigues. Her grandfather, a conductor, also played a significant role in shaping her musical development.

Before devoting herself to music, Vivian worked as a professional model and appeared in numerous adverts in Brazil. She gained her first musical experience as an amateur singer in Recife and Olinda. In Portugal, she eventually established herself as a fado singer and performed regularly at the Lisbon fado house ‘Fado da Glória’. She also appeared on various Portuguese television programmes.

In addition to fado, Vivian Lima is also a composer. In 2015, she released the album Memórias, which features twelve of her own songs and blends Brazilian musical styles such as MPB, samba-canção, country and bolero.

Today, Vivian Lima is regarded as a versatile artist who authentically blends Brazilian music and Portuguese fado. From June 2026, she will launch two new projects in collaboration with the label LFB Records: the “Estrada Fado Group – The First Reggae Project”, in which she will appear as a special guest, and the “Vivian Lima Latin Brasil Project” featuring her own compositions.
